She’s the reigning IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year, having held that title five years, and has been hailed by Alison Krauss and Ricky Skaggs as one of the greatest vocalists in country and bluegrass music.

Steve Gulley had already won esteem for his lofty tenor voice and emotional delivery as an entertainer at Kentucky’s historic Renfro Valley well before he joined Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, which brought him to a wider but no less appreciative audience.
Steve was also a founding member of Mountain Heart where he recorded five highly acclaimed, award-winning projects while serving as the band’s lead vocalist followed by a five-year stint as a founding member and front man of the popular group, Grasstowne.
For over fifteen years, Janet McGarry has continued to be a dominant presence in bluegrass music, both at home and abroad. She has shared stages with some of the most revered performers of this genre, and of her time. With nine albums to date, each have earned her awards, accolades, and much deserved respect from the music industry. Among her most significant career accolades, Janet is now a “Daughter of Bluegrass”, a leading group of female bluegrass artists, appearing as a lead artist on the cd “Bluegrass Bouquet”, the group’s third collaboration on Blue Circle Records. Ken Collins has played in many different bands over the years and brings his years of experience and musicianship to the group.Ken plays many genres of music including Traditional Country, Maritime and Celtic and his harmonies are some of the best in the business.
Jeff Nauss is the 2012 Guitar player of the year and is known for his creative and lightning fast breaks.Jeff also plays mandolin and banjo and brings a beautiful baritone to the band.
Justin Nauss is a gifted Banjo, mandolin and guitar player who also has great baritone vocals as well.Justin brings years of experience to the group and adds the drive in Eight Wheel Drive!
Simply Blue is no stranger to the bluegrass industry and certainly aren’t rookies!
Guy Godin (Mandolinist) and Jamie Melanson (Lead Singer/Guitarist) have been Playing music for Simply Blue and the founder of the band from the beginning. Simply Blue played at their first premier, opening for bluegrass diamond in 2008.
after a quick climb in the industry, Simply Blue Became well known by wining the showcase at Rollo bay Festival and sharing their music all around the Maritimes becoming one of the fans favorite. Simply Blue Recruited three new members; Jason guilmond (Banjo Player), Marcel Allain (bassist/Harmony), Jessy Hebert (Guitar/Lead singer). All of them struck up a Friendship that carries through their music and playing the style they all cut their teeth on. Simply Blue brings to the table a fresh take on Traditional and modern bluegrass music. They also have a couple of originals and new take on classic standards. Simply blue is a sure fit for any crowd.

Southbound Bluegrass Band was formed in 2004 with Dan Fraser on vocals,guitar and dobro and his wife, Pat on bass and vocals, and Mike Laycock on mandolin and vocals. Dan is two-time “Dobro player of the year” and Jeff has been nominated twice for “Banjo player of the year”. Mike is a former band member of the Grassfire Band.Pat,playing a 1941 Kaybass is a former member of Dark Hollow Band. Promoting Bluegrass and having fun doing it has always been their goal.
Sandra Jones, born and raised in Roseville, PEI. She comes from a family of eight and has been singing since the age of three with her sisters and mom. She Enjoys Singing and playing Guitar, has released three CD’s , one of them being a Christmas CD and one was produced in Nashville in 2007.She also enjoyed singing on a couple Of Carnival Cruise ships and still sings across Prince Edward Island.
